Your privacy is our priority. The Shore Memorial Foundation’s website and financial structure meets all legal requirements with respect to privacy, and embraces the ethical guidelines established for fundraising organizations in the age of electronic communication.

Subject to consent, any personal information we collect on this website or through our various activities is used only to process donations and keep you informed about our activities and special programs.

The personal information you provide when making an online donation or registering to volunteer will not be disclosed to any third parties. We do not lend, exchange, rent or sell our supporter lists to any other organizations.

When you make a donation to the Shore Memorial Foundation online, a secure connection is established and your information is encrypted to prevent interception during the transaction. This secure connection is maintained until the transaction is completed or terminated. The software and protocols that power the online donation process are carefully maintained and updated to maximize protection of your information.

If you provide us with your postal address, e-mail address or telephone number, you may receive periodic communication regarding Foundation programs or upcoming events. Communications generated through Shore Memorial websites contain a link allowing you to exercise your option to ‘opt-out’ of the associated electronic mailing list. Or you may request to be opted out at any time by sending an e-mail to foundation@shorememorial.org or by calling 609-653-3800.

FUNDRAISING ACTIVITIES. Shore Memorial Hospital may use your protected health information to contact you in an effort to raise money for the hospital and its operations. We may disclose your information to the Shore Memorial Health Foundation, so that the Foundation may contact you in raising money for the hospital. We only would release contact information, such as your name, address and phone number and the dates you received services at the hospital.

If you do not want the hospital to contact you for fundraising efforts, you must notify the Shore Memorial Hospital Privacy Office in writing.
