Pastoral Care
Pastoral Care is an integral part of Shore Memorial Hospital's commitment to compassionate care for the whole person. It is an interfaith-based ministry staffed by a chaplain and supported by pastoral volunteers. Respecting the religious beliefs and values of all people, they provide spiritual care and emotional support with openness and understanding for patients, family members and staff.
To reach the chaplain:
- Call 609-653-3478
- Call the hospital operator: 609-653-3500
- From inside the hospital: Dial 0
The chapel is a sanctuary, an oasis of quiet, a center of strength and spiritual
support for patients, families, members of the community, and hospital
employees engaged in the sometimes challenging, often stressful task
of keeping us well.
