Patient Feedback

Admissions
Entire process went smoothly. All employees were excellent. They were
friendly, courteous and informative.
T.P., Westmont

The speed in my admitting was amazing. Everyone involved was fantastic.
R.K., Mays Landing

The admissions rep was very careful to flag my medical file as I share
another person's name.
B.W., Ocean City

My insurance didn't have pre-admission number for hospital. When I went for pre-testing, hospital staff very helpful with getting it.
B.M., New Gretna

Pre-admission and admission on day of surgery was excellent.
K.A., Cape May

Pre-Admission
Two days before my surgery, I went to the pre-admission place across from
the hospital. The folks there, especially the nurse Diann, were so friendly
and helpful. I can't tell you how much she helped me and made me feel at
ease about my procedure, like what to expect and what to do the following
days and weeks. It was so helpful and professional compared to my last
operation in Vineland. Your set-up was like 'heaven'.

Pediatrics

Nurse aide Dara was very helpful and polite. She assisted me and always
asked if I was okay or what could she do to help when she checked my
pressure and temperature.
S.L., Mays Landing

I just received your form to fill out, but I felt I needed to tell you
about the nurses who cared for me during my brief stay at Shore.
I had cosmetic surgery and I vaguely remember being brought to a room that was blissfully cool and completely silent and promptly fell asleep. I
remember an aide giving me a dinner tray, so I have to assume I was there
during the second shift.

From that time on until 9:30 the next morning, I was cared for in a manner
that I only saw in old movies or in books about Civil War nurses and the
like. The women who cared for me were literally poster candidates for
Florence Nightingale models. They were at my side seconds after I rang the
bell. They cared for my eyes, my comfort, my safety. One woman actually
noticed that my feet felt 'rough' after 18 hours of those weird anti-blood
clot things and asked if she could put cream on them for me. I wish I could
have seen her, I have never met such a caring woman.
When I left I was told I was on the pediatrics floor. These three
remarkable women should be recognized.
M.B., Linwood

Artie in X-ray was excellent. He cheered up my daughter a lot.
F.W., Egg Harbor Twp.

Nurses were wonderful, answered all of my questions, gave me comfort, and
took excellent care of my son. Respiratory therapist Karen Campo was
especially kind.
B.S. Egg Harbor Twp.

The nurses were excellent: Andrea, Sue, Nancy Price and Lisa.

The girl behind the desk was very concerned because I had waited a while. I

ladies building across from hospital. Excellent at all times.

MTU
I was a patient for three days in the Telemetry area of cardiac care.
Everyone I came in contact with, from Gloria, the head nurse, to Melony and
Kate, the nurses, and all the aides were very polite and efficient. In the
treadmill area of the stress test, Ruth and the other woman, I think her
name was Maria, were also wonderful. Thank you for hiring such wonderful,
caring people.
E.N., Longport

My nurse, Roseanne was excellent. Really gave me tender loving care beyond requirements.
E.L., Linwood

Admitted to ER. I was told I would be spending the night in the ER because
no beds were available. Mrs. Snee came into the ER and said she would try
to find a room. Thanks to her, I was in room 236 by 10 p.m.
E.D., Linwood

Emergency Room
I came to the ER because I couldn't breathe. I had five or six nurses or
interns working on me and very quickly. After the appropriate medicine was
administered, x-rays were taken and a diagnosis made, I was told my
condition was extremely rare for an adult to get, but fortunately for me
the right diagnosis was made. I was told that I was to stay the night in
ICU, however there were no beds available, so I continued my treatment in
the ER. Everyone, and I mean everyone, including the volunteer workers were wonderful. My nurses and doctor were excellent and the care I was given was top notch. I will always be grateful for the marvelous care I received. As I told one of the nurses, your billboards are absolutely correct. You do have the greatest nurses!
D.R., Palm Desert, CA

Though the visit was unexpected. The hospital staff was wonderful to my son
who broke both arms. Everyone from the ER admission until he was released
warmed my heart knowing he was under great care.
E.W., Northfield

The woman in ER was very sweet; gave my daughter's stuffed dog a bracelet
so he could be seen too.
M.R., Egg Harbor Twp.

The doctor and technicians in Quick Care were terrific. I needed 12
stitches for a head wound and the staff made me feel calm.
D.Y., Ocean City

Staff was very friendly and helpful from the time I walked in the door. In fact, they were great. They all seemed concerned about my comfort and privacy and did anything they could to see that I was comfortable.
C.H., Pleasantville

All staff and doctors were cheerful, friendly and attentive. Questions were welcome and answered. You have an excellent facility.

I was completely impressed with every nurse I had. They were all excellent and wonderful to me. I couldn't have asked for better nurses.
C.M., Mays Landing

I am a 30 year old woman who had premature labor from 23 weeks gestation. My pregnancy was filled with fear and apprehension. True labor began at 35 weeks and the fear increased. Once we were admitted and met our nurse, our fears subsided. Pat Sartorio is a professional, kind, warm, considerate and caring woman. She knew my needs before I was even aware of them. Her gentleness was astounding. I felt like my mother was caring for us. It was a privilege to be cared for by her and all the staff at Shore. Excellent service provided in the beautiful labor and delivery unit.
M.B., Ventnor

A beautiful hospital.
S.M., Hammonton
