CEED, the NJ Cancer Education and Early Detection program. Sup The federal Breast and Cervical Cancer Prevention and Treatment Act of 2000 allows states to expand Medicaid coverage to eligible women diagnosed with breast or cervical cancer. On July 1, 2001, New Jersey adopted this coverage when Acting Governor Donald DiFrancesco signed the bill into law during a ceremony held at Shore Memorial.
