Shore Memorial Hospital School of Radiologic Technology Accepting Applications for New School Year

Are you looking to change careers or start a new job in the healthcare industry? If you are interested in a career where you can make a difference in the lives of others every day, consider applying for Shore Memorial Hospital’s School of Radiologic Technology program.

The School of Radiologic Technology is a full-time, 24 month program that teaches students the safe and correct way to take X-rays of the human body. The program is divided between classroom hours and hands-on clinical experience. Upon completion of the program, students earn a certificate in Radiologic Technology and may pursue a healthcare career as an X-ray Technologist.

Applicants must be at least 18 years of age by the first day of class and have a high school diploma or a GED. Applicants must have completed the following prerequisite courses with a grade of "C" or higher before applying to the program: College Algebra, English Composition I, Anatomy and Physiology I, Introduction to Computers and Introduction to Psychology or Sociology. Open enrollment ends March 31, 2010, all applications must be received by this date.
