June Employee of the Month, Jean-Bazelet Dorce, Recognized for Teamwork and Dependability

Professionalism and a pleasant manner have earned Jean-Bazelet Dorce, respiratory therapist, Employee of the Month honors for June.

Jean joined the staff at Shore Memorial in April 2005, and his positive approach and resourcefulness made him a favorite on the night shift where he can always be relied upon to cover a shift or lend a helping hand. The recipient of Team Player and Pat on the Back awards, Jean exemplifies the Spirit of Shore vision and values in all his interactions.

"Jean has come in on numerous occasions on short notice to help cover shifts for sick calls and increased patient acuity. Jean contributes to the team care approach of patient care by always being available and helping his co-workers in the respiratory department with whatever is needed to ensure excellent patient care. In doing so he serves as a positive role model for the respiratory department," says Karen McKinley, RRT, AE-C.
