Shore Memorial Receives Grant from Horizon

Shore Memorial Hospital was recently acknowledged for excellence in their efforts in the areas of patient safety, clinical outcomes and patient satisfaction by Horizon Blue Cross Blue Shield of New Jersey. Shore Memorial was recognized as part of the 2008 Horizon Hospital Recognition Program (HHRP). Horizon applauded and encouraged the ongoing quality improvement efforts of Shore Memorial by providing the hospital with a grant for $63,125. The HHRP was introduced in July 2006 to recognize hospitals that provide quality patient outcomes and improve their overall clinical performance.
