Shore Memorial Physicians Named “Best Doctors” by Philadelphia Magazine

Thursday September 25, 2008

Six physicians from Shore Memorial Hospital’s medical staff were recently named the “best local doctors” in Philadelphia Magazine’s May issue.

Physicians from throughout the Delaware Valley were selected by Castle Connolly Medical Ltd, a physician-led team of researchers that bases its selections on doctors’ educational and professional experience. Through the use of telephone and mail surveys and electronic ballots, Castle Connolly gathers information from the doctors and medical leadership at leading hospitals to identify physicians for this recognition. After a careful screening process, the final selections are made for the “Best Doctors” in the Philadelphia region.

Shore Memorial physicians and their specialties named are:

David Blecker, M.D., nephrology. Dr. Blecker received his medical degree from Tufts University in Boston, Mass. Board certified in internal medicine and nephrology, he is in practice with Regional Nephrology Associates in Northfield.
