Shore Memorial is part of the University of Pennsylvania Cancer Network and the Penn Lung Center at Shore Memorial – assuring patients who are faced with a cancer diagnosis that they have access to the best science and technology in their fight against cancer.

The affiliation also extends to our CardioVascular Institute. Patients with heart disease benefit from our integrated approach to heart health through Penn Cardiac Care and one of the nation’s best heart centers – Penn Presbyterian Medical Center. Shore Memorial has even engaged the services of the Penn Heart RescueTM program to ensure rapid transport and treatment of heart attack patients who require emergency intervention. Additionally, Shore's connection with The Penn Neurological Institutes provides our Neuroscience Center with advanced diagnostic and treatment options and the latest in clinical research trials.

CHOP Connection

The youngest members of our community deserve the same commitment to world-class quality that their adult counterparts receive. The Children's Hospital of Philadelphia has been ranked as America’s best pediatric hospital by U.S. News & World Report for five consecutive years (2003-2007). Our CHOP affiliation makes certain they get the best pediatric care available. Shore Memorial is New Jersey’s only CHOP Connection facility. Pediatric hospitalists provide around-the-clock care to inpatients and provide consultative services to pediatric cases in the emergency department. In addition, CHOP neonatologists stand watch over Shore Memorial newborns assuring that babies born at Shore Memorial get off to the best possible start in life.
